Virtual Romans

The aim of this project is to investigate aspects of life in Roman Leicester (Ratae Corieltauvorum) by creating highly accurate digital models of the known buildings and many artefacts, then eventually populating the resulting town with virtual ‘Romans’. The project has used virtual reality, augmented reality and 3D printing technologies to create an iPad app and an exhibition in the Jewry Wall museum in Leicester.
